About Us
The Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) is an international organization of locally-based women's organizations providing support, inspiration, information and networking opportunities to women and men who are interested in, or involved in the international trade community. Members of the Alberta Chapter are part of a growing worldwide network of professionals whose involvement in OWIT enhances their knowledge of current global trade issues, provides a global network of contacts, and professional development opportunities.
OWIT Alberta is a dynamic way for you to expand your networks, and enhance your professional and personal life. Our diverse members come from the public, private (corporations & entrepreneurs) and NGO sectors. We also draw interest from both women and men.
As an organization, we are dedicated to offering you, by way of our ongoing events throughout the year and our high quality speakers, a wide variety of networking opportunities. Regular events are organized in Calgary and Edmonton.
We are a non-profit organization and chapter of OWIT international that has hundreds of members in dozens of chapters throughout the world.
